Profile: Inger Pols is the founding editor of the New England Health Advisory. She graduated from Yale University and then earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. During her successful twenty-year career in the corporate world, Inger observed first-hand the effects of poor nutrition, lack of exercise, and high levels of stress on her friends and colleagues... and herself. Then Inger adopted two children and realized she needed to intervene and alter their diets in order for them to thrive and grow physically and intellectually.Inger decided to return to school to learn more about nutrition and dietary theory and received certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and Columbia University's Teachers' College as a Holistic Health Counselor. Inger is board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and also earned certification as a Holistic Stress Management Instructor. She also began work toward a PhD in Natural Medicine.As Editor at New England Health Advisory, Inger has written dozens and dozens of articles about health and wellness. This led to the publication of her first book, an e-book entitled, “What Your Doctor Isn’t Telling You – Change Your Life One Bite, One Breath, One Step At A Time,” which hit #8 on the amazon.com healthy living e-book best seller list. She has also authored or co-authored a number of other books on physical health and living well.
